UAE Ecommerce Platform for Sellers | SimplifyYourWork

Manage Noon, Amazon.ae & D2C orders, reconcile COD, issue FTA e-invoices and sync inventory — one platform built for UAE sellers.

The problem

We've lived your three biggest headaches.

01

Inventory across channels goes out of sync

You sell on your own site, Noon, Amazon.ae, and Instagram. Each platform holds its own stock count. An item sells out on Amazon before your website updates. Overselling, cancelled orders, and angry customers follow. Multi-channel inventory without a single ledger is a race to the bottom.

02

COD reconciliation is a monthly nightmare

Your courier hands over a cash remittance summary every two weeks. Matching each order's COD amount against the remittance PDF, minus courier fees, takes your accountant two full days — every month. Unmatched lines and silently overpaid courier fees accumulate.

03

Noon and Amazon.ae orders live in separate silos

Noon FBN orders, Amazon Easy Ship consignments, and your own storefront each have separate dashboards, separate fulfilment workflows, and separate fee structures. Your team context-switches constantly. There is no unified order queue, no unified stock count, and no unified margin view.

04

BNPL payments land in accounting without context

Tabby and Tamara settle T+1 in net batches after deducting their fees. Your accounting system sees a bank credit with no link to individual orders. Reconciling which orders were covered, what the settlement deduction was, and which BNPL provider paid what is a manual exercise repeated every week.

05

VAT invoices are issued wrong or late

UAE law requires a valid VAT tax invoice on every taxable sale. Auto-generated Shopify receipts are not UAE tax invoices. You either issue them manually after the fact or skip them — and both approaches create FTA exposure. As the e-invoicing mandate advances, an unstructured invoice workflow becomes a compliance liability.

06

Returns eat margin invisibly

A returned item lands in your warehouse but nobody decrements the stock count, raises a credit note, or adjusts the COD reconciliation. The financial impact of returns accumulates silently until the next stock count. Return rate by SKU and channel is invisible.

07

FTA e-invoicing is coming and you are not ready

The FTA is advancing a PINT-AE structured e-invoicing mandate. Your current invoicing stack — whether a Shopify plugin or standalone billing tool — will not produce a compliant PINT-AE structured invoice without significant rework. Businesses that act late face both technical debt and compliance risk.

08

Cash flow is unpredictable across payment methods

COD remittances arrive on their own schedule. Card settlements take 2–3 days. Tabby and Tamara settle on their own cycles. Your accounting system has none of this in real time. You make stock purchasing decisions without knowing your true cash position.

The UAE ecommerce landscape

A fast-growing market with real operational and compliance complexity

UAE ecommerce has expanded rapidly, driven by high smartphone penetration, a young population, and strong logistics infrastructure. Growth exposes operational gaps fast: COD remains a significant share of UAE online transactions, the FTA's structured e-invoicing mandate is advancing, and 5% VAT applies to virtually all domestic B2C and B2B sales. Sellers on a Shopify + QuickBooks + WhatsApp + courier spreadsheet patchwork hit a wall as order volumes scale. SYW connects the dots — marketplace channels, inventory, orders, BNPL reconciliation, accounting, and fleet in one platform built for the UAE.

Where ecommerce operators recover time and margin

2 days → minutes
COD reconciliation time
Manual courier remittance matching replaced by auto-import and AWB-level match. Accountant time freed for higher-value work — not lost to PDF-to-spreadsheet reconciliation every month.
Real-time
Inventory accuracy across all channels
Single inventory ledger updated at order placement eliminates the overselling and stock-out cycles that damage customer trust, trigger marketplace penalties, and drive costly returns.
Zero
Manual journal entries for routine orders
Revenue, COGS, VAT liability, and payment all post automatically from the order workflow — whether COD, card, or BNPL. Month-end close is faster because the ledger is already current.
Per-SKU
Gross margin visibility including landed cost
Landed cost (supplier price + duty + freight) allocated per SKU. Discontinue or reprice underperformers using actual margin data — not assumptions based on selling price alone.
T+1
BNPL settlement reconciled automatically
Tabby and Tamara settlement batches matched to individual orders the same day they post. BNPL fees recognised. No end-of-week manual spreadsheet reconciliation across two BNPL providers.
One workflow
Full return cycle closed — stock, credit note, COD/BNPL
A return that previously required three separate steps in three systems (ecommerce platform, accounting tool, courier portal) closes in one action in SYW — with correct inventory, financial, and reconciliation impact.
Structured
PINT-AE invoice output — ready before the mandate
No last-minute billing stack rearchitecture when FTA e-invoicing takes effect. Invoice data is already structured for PINT-AE from day one — removing a compliance catch-up cost that every non-structured platform will face.
Visible
Courier overcharges surfaced before payment
Every courier invoice matched against actual shipments. Overcharges, duplicate fee lines, and missing credits identified before you pay — across thousands of monthly shipments where errors accumulate unnoticed.
The real cost of a disconnected ecommerce stack

What you pay for when your tools do not talk to each other

Shopify receipts are not VAT invoices. COD remittances do not reconcile themselves. BNPL settlements do not match to orders automatically. Inventory does not sync across channels without a system designed for it. The gap between your current stack and a single integrated platform has a real and recurring cost.

Accountant time on COD reconciliation

Two full working days per month, every month — matching courier remittance PDFs against order exports line by line. At UAE accountant salary levels, that is a recoverable recurring cost that disappears the day you automate it.

2 days/month of recoverable accountant time

BNPL settlement errors that go unnoticed

Tabby and Tamara settle in net batches. Without order-level matching, fee deductions that do not reconcile to actuals, and returns that are not reversed correctly, errors accumulate across high-volume months — invisible until someone manually audits.

Settlement fee discrepancies and unmatched BNPL returns

FTA penalties for non-compliant invoices

Issuing an invoice that does not meet UAE VAT invoice requirements — missing TRN, incorrect tax date, no line-item VAT — exposes you to FTA administrative penalties. Non-compliance is not a theoretical risk for businesses that have been through an FTA audit. Consult your tax adviser on current penalty schedules.

Administrative penalties per non-compliant invoice

Returns that never close in accounting

A return processed in your ecommerce platform but not reconciled against the COD or BNPL settlement, not credited in accounting, and not restocked in inventory leaves a trail of errors that compounds with every return cycle. Return rate by SKU and channel remains invisible.

Revenue leakage and stock inaccuracy from unreconciled returns

Integration maintenance overhead

Every API integration between your ecommerce platform, accounting tool, inventory system, and marketplace connectors is a liability. Platform updates break connectors. Data mapping drifts. Someone on your team becomes an unofficial integration support engineer.

Engineering and ops time maintaining brittle connectors

Courier overcharges that go undetected

Couriers charge per shipment, with adjustments for weight, zone, returns, and failed deliveries. Without matching each line of a remittance against actual orders, overcharges accumulate across thousands of monthly shipments unnoticed — particularly on high-COD-volume routes.

Undetected courier billing errors across high-volume months
What's included

Pre-built for how ecommerce actually works.

Marketplace & Multi-Channel Order Management

Noon & Amazon.ae Marketplace Integration

Centralise Noon FBN (Fulfilled by Noon), Noon FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant), and Amazon Easy Ship orders alongside your own storefront into one order queue. Stock deducts from the same ledger across all channels — preventing the overselling that marketplace sellers dread. Note: direct API marketplace connectors are on the SYW product roadmap; current workflow supports import and API-based order ingestion.

Real-Time Multi-Channel Inventory

Single inventory ledger updated the moment an order is placed — whether from your website, Noon, Amazon.ae, or a WhatsApp sale. Reservation logic prevents overselling across channels. Low-stock thresholds trigger reorder alerts automatically. Unified SKU management with per-channel availability settings.

Unified Order Queue

All incoming orders flow into a single queue regardless of source. Pick, pack, and dispatch from one screen. No channel-switching, no data re-entry. Noon FBN cross-dock routing, Amazon Easy Ship label generation, and own-courier dispatch handled from the same workflow.

Pick & Pack Workflow

Warehouse staff follow a scan-to-pick flow for each order. Stock deducts live at scan. Short-picks and substitutions are flagged before the shipment leaves. Picking accuracy improves and mispicks that drive costly returns drop.

Returns & Reverse Logistics

Return authorisation linked to the original order and invoice. Stock re-enters inventory at the correct location on confirmation. Credit note generated automatically. COD or BNPL reconciliation updated. The full return cycle closes in one workflow — including restocking logic and return analytics by SKU and channel.

Product & Variant Management

SKUs, variants (size, colour, bundle), barcode/UPC, cost price, selling price, and per-channel availability managed centrally. Bulk updates applied across channels in seconds. Product cost history tracked for accurate per-SKU margin reporting.

Multi-Location Stock

Track stock across your warehouse, free-zone fulfilment centre, and pop-up locations in real time. Inter-location transfers tracked end-to-end. Whether you operate from JAFZA, Meydan FZ, or a mainland warehouse, SYW handles entity-level invoicing and inter-entity stock transfers per your licence structure.

Courier & Shipping Management

Print shipping labels, track courier collections, and log actual shipping cost per shipment. Compare cost per delivery across your couriers. Identify when your own van is cheaper than outsourcing same-day. Cost-per-order reporting built in — data to negotiate at contract renewal.

COD & Payment Reconciliation

COD Remittance Reconciliation

Import courier remittance files and auto-match each line against your open COD orders by AWB and amount. Courier fees and deductions are split out automatically. Unmatched lines and non-remittance exceptions are flagged for escalation. The matched remittance posts directly to your accounting ledger — eliminating the two-day manual reconciliation cycle.

COD Collection by Driver

If you run your own delivery drivers, each driver's collected cash is tracked per delivery. End-of-shift cash handover reconciled against expected collections. COD-to-digital conversion tracked over time — giving you data to manage the shift away from cash at the customer level.

BNPL Settlement Reconciliation

Tabby and Tamara settle in net batches after deducting their fees. SYW matches each batch against the individual BNPL-tagged orders it covers, splits out the BNPL provider fee as a recognised expense, and posts the net settlement to your ledger. T+1 BNPL accounting without manual spreadsheet work.

Multi-Method Payment Tracking

COD, card gateway settlements, bank transfers, and BNPL all tracked per order with their distinct settlement timelines. Expected cash by method visible on your dashboard. No more guessing when money will actually land from each channel.

Bank Reconciliation

Import UAE bank statements and auto-match gateway settlements, COD remittances, BNPL batches, and direct transfers against your ledger. Unmatched items flagged with suggested matches. Monthly bank rec completed in minutes, not hours.

BNPL — Tabby & Tamara

Dual-BNPL Checkout Support

SYW's checkout and order management recognises Tabby and Tamara as distinct payment methods. BNPL orders are tagged at placement — allowing BNPL-specific reporting, settlement matching, and return handling. Offering both major UAE BNPL providers gives customers choice at checkout without creating two separate reconciliation tracks.

BNPL Order Reporting & Adoption Tracking

Track BNPL adoption rate by product category, average order value for BNPL vs non-BNPL orders, and BNPL provider split. Understand which product lines convert better with instalment options and where BNPL fees are concentrated.

BNPL Return & Refund Handling

When a BNPL order is returned, SYW triggers the refund workflow back to the BNPL provider and records the reversal in your accounting ledger. Partial returns on BNPL orders handled with correct credit allocation — no manual off-system adjustments.

VAT, E-Invoicing & Compliance

UAE VAT Tax Invoices

5% VAT calculated and applied automatically on every taxable sale. Full UAE VAT tax invoice issued — TRN displayed, line-item VAT amounts shown, tax date correct. Credit notes and debit notes supported. Compliant invoices issued the moment an order is dispatched, not days later. Shopify order confirmations are not UAE VAT invoices — SYW invoices are.

VAT 201 Return Preparation

Per-emirate VAT figures compiled automatically from your sales and purchase ledger. Download the VAT 201 return pre-populated — review, verify, and submit to FTA. No end-of-quarter scramble across spreadsheets and courier invoices.

PINT-AE E-Invoicing Readiness

The UAE Federal Tax Authority is advancing a structured e-invoicing mandate based on the PINT-AE (UBL 2.1 XML) standard. SYW generates invoice data structured to be PINT-AE-compatible. When the FTA mandate takes effect — and it is advancing — your invoice output is already structured, not rearchitected at the last minute. Monitor fta.gov.ae for rollout details and consult your tax adviser on ASP transmission requirements.

Place-of-Supply Rules

UAE VAT place-of-supply rules determine where a supply is treated as made. For goods, this typically tracks the location of the goods at the time of supply. SYW applies the correct emirate attribution automatically — relevant for businesses with cross-emirate operations, free-zone entities, or imports. Verify specific cross-border digital goods rules with your tax adviser against UAE VAT Executive Regulation Articles 30–32.

Import Customs & Landed Cost

Log import duty, customs clearance fees, and freight on inbound stock shipments. Landed cost allocated to product cost — giving accurate gross margin per SKU rather than margin based on supplier invoice price alone. Input VAT paid on imports is captured for recovery on your VAT 201 return.

Corporate Tax (CT) Support

UAE Corporate Tax support with small business relief eligibility tracking and free zone qualifying income calculations where applicable. Accounting records maintained to the standard required for CT filing — not retrofitted from a US or UK framework. Ecommerce businesses are not categorically exempt from UAE CT.

Free Zone & Mainland Operations

Free Zone Entity Invoicing

Whether your trade licence is in JAFZA, Meydan FZ, IFZA, or another UAE free zone, SYW handles entity-level VAT invoicing with the correct TRN and entity name. Free zone businesses selling to mainland UAE customers must account for VAT on those supplies — SYW applies the correct treatment automatically.

Inter-Entity Stock Transfers

If you operate separate free-zone and mainland entities, stock transfers between them have VAT and accounting implications. SYW tracks inter-entity transfers as designated supply transactions with the appropriate invoice and inventory impact on both sides.

Dropshipping & Third-Party Fulfilment

For dropshipping operations — common in UAE free zones — SYW tracks supplier dispatch, customer invoicing, and the margin in between. Stock never passes through your warehouse but the revenue, COGS, VAT liability, and supplier payable are all recorded correctly.

Customer & CRM

Customer Profiles & Order History

Every customer's full order history, return history, BNPL usage, payment method mix, and lifetime value in one record. Segment customers by order frequency, average basket, or product category. Know who your profitable customers are and which segments drive disproportionate returns.

WhatsApp Order & Support Inbox

UAE customers communicate via WhatsApp. All inbound WhatsApp messages — order enquiries, delivery queries, return requests — handled in a shared team inbox with full conversation history. No more orders buried in personal chat threads.

Customer Retention Campaigns

Automated WhatsApp and email sequences triggered by customer behaviour: first purchase follow-up, 30-day re-engagement for lapsed buyers, restock alerts for out-of-stock favourites, review requests after confirmed delivery. Retention on autopilot.

Post-Delivery Satisfaction

Automated CSAT survey sent via WhatsApp after delivery confirmation. Aggregate scores by courier, product category, or delivery zone. Identify where fulfilment failures are damaging customer experience before they appear in public reviews.

Repeat Purchase Tracking

Track repeat purchase rate, average order interval, and churn indicators per customer cohort. Identify the product categories that generate the highest repeat purchase — and the ones that do not. Data-driven merchandising and reorder decisions.

Accounting & Finance

Order-to-Cash Accounting

Every order flows through to accounting automatically: revenue recognised on dispatch, COGS posted from inventory, VAT liability updated, and payment matched on receipt — whether COD, card, or BNPL. No manual journal entries for routine transactions. Your P&L is current in real time.

Gross Margin by SKU

Selling price minus landed cost (supplier price + duty + freight) per SKU. Identify which products are genuinely profitable after all costs — not just which have the highest selling price. Discontinue or reprice underperformers with evidence.

Courier Cost Reconciliation

Every courier invoice matched against actual shipments. Overcharges and missing credits surfaced before you pay. Courier fee allocated per delivery for cost-per-order reporting. Data to negotiate better rates at contract renewal.

Accounts Receivable & Credit

For B2B ecommerce accounts with net terms — credit limit enforcement, automatic hold on overdue accounts, aged AR report, and statement-of-account dispatch. Cash collection tightened without manual chasing.

Cash Flow Dashboard

Real-time view of expected COD remittances, BNPL settlement timelines, card settlement dates, outstanding payables to suppliers, and projected cash balance. Manage stock purchasing decisions based on actual cash position — not a bank balance that ignores outstanding settlements.

Fleet & Last-Mile Delivery

Same-Day Delivery Route Optimisation

For own-fleet same-day deliveries, orders are grouped by zone and routed for minimum drive time. Dubai traffic patterns and Salik toll gates factored in. Drivers complete more drops per shift — reducing cost per delivery without compromising delivery windows.

Live Driver Tracking

Real-time driver GPS positions on a dispatch map. Customer-facing ETA link sent via WhatsApp on dispatch — customers track their own delivery. Inbound 'where is my order?' calls drop when customers can see for themselves.

Proof of Delivery

Driver captures customer signature and delivery photo at each stop. Proof of delivery stored against the order and accessible to customer service. No more disputes about whether a parcel was delivered when your team has timestamped photographic evidence.

Salik & Fuel Cost Tracking

Toll charges and fuel fill-ups allocated per vehicle and per delivery zone. True cost per delivery calculated — including the costs most ecommerce operations track only as a lump overhead. Data to decide rationally between own-fleet and third-party courier.

HR & Payroll

WPS Payroll

SIF file export formatted for the UAE Wage Protection System. Warehouse staff, drivers, and customer-service agents paid on time and on record. Commission structures for sales teams calculated and included in the same payroll run.

EOSB & Leave

End-of-service benefit calculated per UAE Labour Law: 21 days per year for the first five years, 30 days thereafter. Annual leave (30 days), sick leave, and other entitlements tracked with correct accrual rules. No manual calculations at offboarding.

Document Expiry Alerts

Visa, Emirates ID, passport, and labour card expiry tracked per employee with automated alerts at 90, 60, and 30 days. Avoid fines and labour compliance issues from operating with staff whose documents have silently lapsed.

How it works

Four steps. End to end.

01

Order received across all channels

Order lands in SYW from your direct channel, Noon, Amazon.ae, or a WhatsApp sale. Inventory reserved instantly across all channels. UAE VAT invoice generated. Customer confirmation sent.

02

Pick, pack, dispatch

Warehouse team picks by barcode scan. Stock deducts live. Shipping label printed. Courier collected or own driver assigned to an optimised route — same workflow regardless of order source.

03

Deliver & confirm

Driver collects POD signature and photo. Customer tracks via live ETA link. Delivery confirmed. COD amount, card settlement, or BNPL order recorded against the order ready for reconciliation.

04

Reconcile & close

Courier remittance and BNPL settlement batches imported and auto-matched. VAT figures updated. Bank statement reconciled. P&L current. Return raised against original order if needed — stock, accounting, BNPL, and COD all adjust in one step.

UAE regulatory context for ecommerce

VAT, e-invoicing, and labour compliance you cannot ignore

UAE VAT — 5% on domestic sales

Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 imposes 5% VAT on the supply of goods and services in the UAE. Every B2C and B2B ecommerce sale to a UAE-resident buyer is a taxable supply. A valid UAE VAT tax invoice must include your TRN, buyer TRN for B2B supplies above the threshold, supply date, description of goods, quantity, unit price, VAT rate, VAT amount per line, and total VAT payable. Shopify order confirmations are not UAE VAT invoices.

Place of supply — cross-emirate and cross-border goods

For goods supplied within the UAE, the place of supply is generally where the goods are located at the time of supply. For businesses with warehouse and customer locations across multiple emirates, correct emirate attribution matters for VAT reporting. Place-of-supply rules for digital goods sold cross-border within the GCC or internationally have nuances — verify your specific situation with a UAE tax adviser against UAE VAT Executive Regulation Articles 30–32.

FTA e-invoicing mandate (PINT-AE)

The UAE Federal Tax Authority is advancing a structured e-invoicing mandate based on the PINT-AE standard (UBL 2.1 XML). Businesses will be required to issue machine-readable structured invoices transmitted via an Accredited Service Provider (ASP). The mandate is being rolled out in phases by revenue threshold — confirm the current rollout schedule and applicable phase for your business at fta.gov.ae. SYW generates PINT-AE-compatible structured invoice data — your invoicing workflow is ready before the mandate lands.

Import customs and input VAT recovery

Goods imported into the UAE attract customs duty and import VAT. Import VAT paid is generally recoverable as input tax on your VAT 201 return. Landed cost tracking in SYW captures customs duty and freight — giving accurate COGS and supporting input VAT recovery documentation.

Free zone vs mainland — VAT and licensing implications

UAE free zone businesses (JAFZA, Meydan FZ, IFZA, and others) can hold 100% foreign ownership. However, free zone entities that sell goods or services into the UAE mainland are making taxable supplies subject to VAT. SYW handles entity-level VAT invoicing and inter-entity stock transfer accounting for both free zone and mainland structures. Confirm your specific licensing and supply chain setup with a UAE corporate and tax adviser.

UAE Labour Law & WPS

The UAE Wage Protection System requires all private-sector employers to pay salaries via the WPS SIF file through an authorised bank or exchange house. Non-compliance carries fines and can result in Ministry of Human Resources penalties. SYW generates a compliant WPS SIF export on every payroll run — covering warehouse staff, drivers, and customer-service agents.

UAE Corporate Tax

UAE Corporate Tax (9% on taxable income above AED 375,000) applies to businesses with a UAE trade licence. Ecommerce businesses are not categorically exempt. Free zone entities may qualify for a 0% rate on qualifying income if they meet the substance and nexus requirements — confirm your eligibility with a UAE tax adviser. Accurate revenue, COGS, and expense accounting in SYW provides the financial records required for CT filing.

Why UAE ecommerce operators choose SYW

Built for how UAE ecommerce actually works

COD is a first-class citizen

Most ERP and ecommerce platforms treat COD as an afterthought. SYW builds COD remittance import, AWB-level matching, non-remittance escalation, and courier fee deduction into the core accounting flow — because in the UAE, COD is a real and significant payment channel, not an edge case.

BNPL reconciliation without the spreadsheet

Tabby and Tamara are the checkout standard for UAE online stores. SYW reconciles BNPL settlements at the order level — T+1 batches matched to individual orders, provider fees recognised as expenses, and refunds handled when a BNPL order is returned. No off-system matching required.

Marketplace sellers are not an afterthought

Noon and Amazon.ae are where UAE buyers shop. SYW's unified order queue and single inventory ledger mean marketplace orders, D2C orders, and WhatsApp sales are managed identically — one stock count, one accounting record, one COD reconciliation, regardless of channel.

FTA compliance without a consultant

VAT invoices, credit notes, VAT 201 return figures, and PINT-AE structured output are all generated automatically from your order data. You do not need an FTA compliance consultant to patch together a tax invoice workflow on top of a non-UAE platform.

No integration patchwork

Inventory, orders, accounting, fleet, HR, and CRM are a single platform — not a Shopify plugin stack duct-taped to a QuickBooks integration duct-taped to a courier API. Data flows without manual transfer. Integration breakages are your biggest operational risk. SYW eliminates the seams.

Arabic invoices and bilingual documents

UAE B2B customers frequently require Arabic-language invoices or bilingual documents. US-built ecommerce ERP does not support RTL or Arabic. SYW does — invoices, delivery notes, and statements available in English, Arabic, or bilingual format.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does SYW integrate with Noon.com and Amazon.ae?

SYW supports unified order management with import and API-based order ingestion from marketplace channels including Noon and Amazon.ae. Direct API marketplace connectors are on the SYW product roadmap — contact us for current integration status and your specific channel. Stock sync across channels is managed through SYW's single inventory ledger, preventing overselling regardless of order source.

What is the difference between FBN and FBM on Noon, and how does SYW manage both?

FBN (Fulfilled by Noon) means Noon holds your stock and ships it. FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) means you ship directly to the customer. For FBN, SYW tracks inventory consigned to Noon as a separate stock location and records the sale when Noon reports it. For FBM, the order flows through the standard SYW pick, pack, and dispatch workflow. Both models are handled from the same order queue.

How does SYW handle COD reconciliation across multiple couriers?

Import your courier's remittance file — Excel or PDF-parsed — into SYW. SYW matches each line against open COD orders by AWB reference and amount, deducts courier fees per your rate schedule, and posts the net receipt to your accounting ledger. Unmatched lines and non-remittance exceptions are flagged for escalation. The reconciliation that previously took two days completes in under an hour.

Can I manage Tabby and Tamara BNPL payments in SYW?

Yes. SYW recognises Tabby and Tamara as distinct payment methods at order placement. Settlement batches are matched to the individual orders they cover, the BNPL provider fee is recognised as an expense, and the net settlement posts to your ledger. When a BNPL order is returned, the reversal is handled in the same return workflow — including the credit back to the BNPL provider.

Is SYW compliant with FTA e-invoicing requirements?

SYW generates invoice data structured for compatibility with the PINT-AE standard (UBL 2.1 XML) that the UAE FTA is mandating. When the mandate takes effect, your invoice output is already structured. The rollout is being phased by revenue threshold — monitor fta.gov.ae for the current schedule applicable to your business, and consult your tax adviser on Accredited Service Provider transmission requirements.

Does SYW support dropshipping operations in UAE free zones?

Yes. For dropshipping, SYW tracks supplier dispatch, customer invoicing, and the margin in between — even when stock never passes through your warehouse. Free zone entities that sell to mainland UAE customers must account for VAT on those supplies; SYW applies the correct treatment. Confirm your specific free zone licence and supply chain structure with a UAE corporate adviser.

How does VAT apply to products sold online in the UAE, including exports?

Sales of goods to UAE-resident buyers are generally subject to 5% UAE VAT. Exports to customers outside the GCC are typically zero-rated. Place-of-supply rules for digital goods sold cross-border within the GCC, or digital services sold internationally, have specific provisions under the UAE VAT Executive Regulation — verify your situation with a UAE tax adviser against Articles 30–32.

Can SYW operate for both free zone and mainland UAE entities?

Yes. SYW handles entity-level VAT invoicing with the correct TRN and entity name for both free zone and mainland entities. Inter-entity stock transfers are tracked as designated supply transactions with the appropriate invoice and inventory impact on both sides.

Does SYW support Arabic (RTL) storefronts and invoices?

Invoices, delivery notes, and customer communications can be issued in English, Arabic, or bilingual format from within SYW. The platform itself is available in both languages. For Arabic-language storefront localisation on your customer-facing website, SYW integrates with your existing store platform.

How does SYW handle returns and reverse logistics?

SYW raises a return authorisation linked to the original order. On return confirmation, inventory is restocked at the correct location, a credit note is issued against the original VAT invoice, and the COD or BNPL reconciliation is adjusted to reflect the return. Return analytics by SKU and channel are available in reporting — so you can identify which products and which channels drive disproportionate returns.

Are the invoices SYW generates valid UAE VAT tax invoices?

Yes. SYW invoices include all mandatory fields required by UAE VAT legislation: your TRN, buyer TRN for B2B supplies above the threshold, supply date, description of goods, quantity, unit price, VAT rate, VAT amount per line, and total VAT payable. Credit notes and debit notes are also supported. Shopify order confirmations are not UAE VAT invoices — SYW invoices are.

Does SYW handle payroll for warehouse and delivery staff?

Yes. SYW payroll generates a WPS-compliant SIF file for all staff — warehouse, drivers, customer service, and office. EOSB, annual leave, sick leave, and overtime are all calculated per UAE Labour Law.
